Choose a company above that's actively adding members to its advisory board. Submit your profile to the company and unless there's a conflict of interest, you'll receive an offer to join the company's advisory board.

Hear From The Company
If approved, you'll receive a welcome letter from the founders of the company with information on the company, what they are looking for assistance with, and behind the scenes details of the companies challenges and opportunities.
STEP 3
Quarterly Advisor Briefings
As a member of the advisory board you'll receive a Quarterly Advisor Briefing from the founders that includes a "state of the union" and 3-5 questions they'd like feedback on for the coming quarter. You're encouraged to respond to any questions you can add value to and provide any advice you can as a member of the advisory board.

Advisor Affiliation In-Lieu Of Compensation
The companies in our Advisory Board Program typically do not offer monetary compensation to new members of the Advisory Board. Advisors share their knowledge in exchange for affiliation as an Advisory Board member and the potential for future monetary or equity based opportunities as the company matures.

You get the opportunity to share your experience with startups pursuing missions that you're passionate about while adding Advisory Board Member to your resume and putting yourself in position for paid or equity based opportunities as the company matures.
Advisory Board members are encouraged to spend 1-2 hours a quarter responding to the Quarterly Advisor Briefing provided by the company. If the company is interested in additional assistance based on your responses, you can require payment for additional time.
If you're accepted to the board you're encouraged to add your affiliation as an Advisory Board Member for the company to your LinkedIn, resume, and other professional materials.
